James "Mike" Sullivan

James Michael "Mike" Sullivan, 75, born in Dublin, Ireland. Son of Norah J. Roddy and Edward Sullivan. Mike Sullivan was survived by his wife Patricia, children Terrance (Mary), Megan (Michael), Michael (Melissa), and Kathryn, and grandchildren Shea Elizabeth, Riley, Ethan, Conner, Flynn, and Faye Margaret. He leaves behind his brother Eddie, Niece Fiona and Nephew Eamonn and his long-term companion Marie. Mike was a recording secretary for Carpenters Union Local 122 in Philadelphia for over 25 years. He was a Local 122 member for more than 57 years. Mike was an avid collector. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, coins, and clocks, but his passion was Austin Healy's. He was a regular vendor at the local flea markets. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and spending time with them. Mike really loved being a grandfather. Mike spent many years in Ireland as a child and then returning all through the years. In 1993 he moved back to live near his brother Eddie full time. Spending time with Eddie and his family, were some of his fondest memories. They were really two peas in a pod. Mike spent his summers at his home in North Wildwood, boating, crabbing and fishing with his family. Mike also enjoyed returning to Ireland with his family to explore castles, ruins, and visiting his Irish relatives. Mike moved to Cape May 18 months ago to live out retirement by the Sea, unfortunately, God had other plans. Taken too soon, but a full life he led surrounded by love of family and friends. Those that have known Mike will never forget him. He was larger than life and for better or worse he always did it his way! Family and friends are invited to Mike's Life Celebration on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, located at 10975 Academy Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19154 1-800-Givnish. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
