Mr. James Edward Suttle,74,Gadsden, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Mr. Suttle is survived by his family we ask that you please keep this family in your heart and prayers during their time of bereavement.

Mr. James Edward Suttle was born on January 23, 1951, in Gadsden, AL to Savannah Ree Suttle and John L. Suttle. He was educated in the Gadsden City School System, graduating from Carver High School. He confessed Christ at an early age and attended Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church here in Gadsden.

James loved working on cars and doing construction. His most famous saying was "Sho you right" followed by the biggest smile. He would always comfort you ending it with "It's gone be alright" to whatever situation you may have been dealing with. His presence was so special and anyone who was able to experience him in any way will never be able to forget him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Lillie Mae Suttle, Cynthia Ann Suttle, Johnnie Mae Suttle and John Author Suttle.

He leaves to cherish his memories, DeAnna Rochell Suttle (Roosvelt) of Gadsden, NiKesha Deshe Suttle of Long Beach, CA., and James Edward (Dabrina) Suttle Jr. of Los Angelas, CA.; grandchildren Brandon Christopher Suttle of Gadsden, AL., Briana Alexis Gomez and Sade Kali Adams of Long Beach, CA.; great-grandchildren Nala Suttle and Nehemiah Suttle of Los Angelas, CA., Teara LaShea Wilson, Zy'Auna Mechelle Brasher, Kinsley Renay Suttle, ChristeAnna Iyain Suttle, JaKolby JaRyan Riddler, Brydon Christopher Suttle, and Karter Christopher Suttle all of Gadsden, AL.; siblings William (Shirley) Suttle of West Covina, CA., Johnny L. (Sandra) Kennebrew of Chicago, IL., Gary (Darlene) Kennebrew of Chicago, IL., Yolanda (Henry) Ragland of Gadsden, AL., Imogene Suttle of Gadsden, AL.; a host of other relatives, family and friends.

Public Viewing will be held from 4pm-6pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at West Gadsden Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at West Gadsden Funeral Home (Dr. G. E. & Betty D. Robinson Chapel).
