James Neal Terry

 

Funeral services for James Neal Terry, 65, will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Mooringsport Baptist Church, 500 Ivy St., Mooringsport, Louisiana at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held August 12, 2023 at Mooringsport Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. until time of service. A burial will follow at Good Exchange Cemetery, McLeod, Texas. Officiating the service will be Pastor John Prose.

James was born June 13, 1958 in North Hollywood, California to James Ernest Terry and Janette Lorraine Schones and passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023.

He was a lifelong member of Mooringsport Baptist Church. James was a member of The Boy Scouts of America where he achieved the title of Eagle Scout.

James is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ronald Terry. His memory is survived by his brothers, Steve Terry and wife, Amy, Donald Terry and Mike Terry; daughter, Kim Gilbert and husband, James; son, David Terry and wife, Robin and grandchildren, Brooke Terry, Daylen Gilbert and Levi Gilbert.

Honoring as pallbearers will be Steve Terry, Donald Terry, Mike Terry, Daylen Gilbert, Phillip Terry and Troy Terry. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Levi Gilbert.
