James Triggs, 89, of Wellington, FL passed away on October 18, 2021 at Centrastate Medical Center in Freehold, NJ.
He was born on November 2, 1931 to Maude and Earl F Triggs in Winchester, VA. James spent his life in New Jersey before ultimately moving to Florida 29 years ago with his wife Barbara. He proudly served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean war until his honorable discharge in 1954. James worked as a Systems Analyst for JohnsonandJohnson in New Brunswick, NJ for 34 years before his retirement in 1993. He had a keen business knowledge, but could easily transition from his suit to a pair of work boots for his many projects. James was very handy and was a true jack of all trades. Whether it was working on his many rental properties, a car, home editions or repairs, he could fix it all with passion for each project. James will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
James is survived by his loving spouse of 29 years Barbara Triggs; his daughters, Karen Hulak, Diane Page and her husband Jeffrey; three step-sons, William Larkin and his wife Tori, Terrence Larkin and his wife Antoinette, Michael Larkin and his wife Marni; his brother Richard Triggs and his partner William Jennings; his 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Stickley and his brother, Donald E Triggs.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 RT 516, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
The family requests that visitors please wear a mask during visiting hours.
