Manchester, Tennessee – Mr. James Howard Vaden, age 82, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at his residence surrounded by family.
Mr. Vaden was born in Ripley, TN, to his late parents James Howard Vaden and Evelyn Hall Vaden. He was a founding member of Coffee County Bank and was a banker with People's Bank in Manchester for several years. Mr. Vaden truly enjoyed his job as a banker. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and travelling. He and his wife, Linda, were members of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Manchester.
Mr. Vaden is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda Vaden; daughters, Kim (Tim) Gibbons and Kathy (Jack) Parsons; sons, Mark (Susie) Cobb and Charles (Susan) Cobb; sister, Judy Mills; grandchildren, Caitlyn and Dylan Monthy, Ashley (Gary) Gearhart, Robert Parsons, Rachel (Justin) Koonce, JT Cobb, Amy (Clay) Marsh, Audrey (Noah) Gann, and Ben Cobb; nephew, Vaden Mills; nieces, Abby (Joey) Younger and Anna (Richard) Webb; great niece, Lauren Webb; great nephew, Carson Younger.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN, with funeral services to follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Mark Barren officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.
