James Ward Obituary
August 18, 1936 - January 7, 2026
James Edward Ward, age 89, went peacefully home on January 7, 2026, in Albany, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy; his sisters, Katherine and Ruth; and his brother, Bob.
James is survived by his children, Dale, Darren, and Darla; stepchildren, Debbie, Pam, Sandy and Bob; along with 27 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great pride and joy in his life.
James began working at the age of 17 at A&P Food Store, where he dedicated 30 years of service. Then he worked for Ocean Spray for 10 years before retiring in 1998. He was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to providing for his family.
James will be deeply missed by many, but his family finds comfort in knowing that he is now in his final home with Jesus and reunited with his loved ones who went before him.
