James Walter Warner, age 85 of Marble, North Carolina, passed away on December 24, 2025.
James was born in Crossville, Tennessee, son of the late John Henry and Cora Eunice Bolin Warner.
He was a custodian in the automotive industry and also had worked for Rich Tool Company in Elyria, Ohio. James loved listening to music, especially Merle Haggard who was his favorite country singer and listening to old-time radio shows. He played rhythm guitar in a family band. James was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Wallace and Stephen Warner; and one sister, Paula Warner.
He is survived by one brother, Nick Warner; and one sister, Linda Simmons.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Bilbrey Funeral Home, followed by burial at Thomas Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
