James Warner Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 9, 2016.
James "Jamie" Harold Warner V, 23, formerly of West Hartford, passed away on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016. There are no words to express the depth of our despair that we feel at this time, but we will find those words because we must celebrate the short time that we had with our Jamie. He had so many people who loved him: his parents, Jeanne and Jim Warner, his grandparents Doris and Jim Warner III; and his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was born in El Paso, TX. We, as his parents, were so excited when we received the call that he was to be ours. He was 5 days old and so tiny we called him "our little peanut". He loved music, was very creative, loved to decorate, and loved fashion. We hoped that cosmetology would be his calling, since at an early age he always wore his own unique hair styles. We never knew what color Jamie's hair would be from one week to the next. He would experiment with blue, purple and even red (although he was not happy with the first red he tried because it came out orange)! Luckily Halloween was his favorite holiday. We were so proud of him when he passed the exam to get his cosmetology license. Jamie believed in the spirit world, he loved a full moon, crystals and good karma. He had an extra special relationship with his Nana, who passed away last June. He talked about her all the time. Although his passing is causing us much pain, we are comforted in the knowledge that he is with her. Another special person in his life was his Auntie Elaine. He had a connection with her. He always knew that she would be there for him. We know in our hearts that our precious son is in a place where he is not hurting any more. His Nana has her arms wrapped around him, protecting him, as she did when she was with him here on earth. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 13th, 2016, 11:00 AM at First Church of Christ Congregational, 12 South Main Street, West Hartford, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to True Colors, Inc., 30 Arbor St #201a, Hartford, CT, 06106.

Our hearts are filled with incredible sadness as Jamie left this earth. There are never the right words to say to comfort but our hearts are wrapped around his family and many friends that loved him. We remember the happier times of a special little boy who we loved and came to our family many times. We remember welcoming him into his family and all the special holidays and birthdays we shared. He is at total peace with his very special "nana" and free to be the spirit he was without the pain. Free to fly. Another bright star in our universe. We loved Jamie for the person he was. Our love goes out to comfort all of you. Rest peacefully Jamie and when the moon is full we will know you are watching over everyone that loved you.Auntie Sue and Bruce
