James Robert Webb

James Robert Webb, Sr. age 82 passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving wife of 50 plus years, at his home in Orangefield, Texas.
James was born Wednesday, September 1, 1943 at St. Mary's Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas to Oscar Ray Webb, Sr. And Edna Watson Webb. He was the third of four sons and was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, class of 1961. James grew up and remained in the Port Arthur area until early to mid 1970's when he moved to Bridge City, Texas. In January 1976 he moved to Orangefield where he remained until his passing.
James and Patricia loved to travel. They visited such places as Germany and Switzerland, but also traveled here in the states. They visited or at least passed through quite a few states, such as Washington DC, Virginia, Wyoming, Colorado, and Nebraska, just to name a few.
James loved worshiping the Lord and working in the local church in operating the sound system. He also had a great love for the people of God and for his Pastor and Sis. Marcantel.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia VanSlyke Webb; sons, James Robert Webb, Jr. and wife Colleen of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Jarrod Ray Webb and wife Deanna of Abilene, Texas, Clint Raymond Webb of Wyoming; brother, Boyd Webb of Altus, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; and along with numerous great grandchildren and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Ray Webb, Sr. and Edna Watson Webb; and brothers, Oscar Ray Webb, Jr. and Wayne Earl Webb.
Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Pinehurst Pentecostal Church, 2111 40th Street Orange, Texas. Pastor Marlin Marcantel will be officiating. Interment to follow Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Orange, Texas.
