James Webster Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home on Mar. 13, 2026.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of James T. Webster, a man whose spirit, generosity, and passion for life touched everyone who knew him. Sometimes better known as "Web" or "Jim", he was truly a one-of-a-kind soul. Known for his larger-than-life personality and incredible generosity, Web, was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. Friends knew they could always count on him for help, a story, or a laugh. He always chose to see the best in everyone he came across. His zest for life, booming laughter, and unwavering positive outlook made every room brighter. Jim's love for animals goes unmatched. They would gravitate to each other so it was never a surprise to see his pooch with him wherever he would go. A master sheet metal worker by trade and a teacher at heart, Jim, spent his life sharing his knowledge and skills with anyone willing to learn. Whether it was welding, mechanics, or another hands-on craft, he believed knowledge was meant to be passed down. Many carry his lessons with them today-not just in their work, but in the pride he inspired in doing things the right way. Web was a true old car enthusiast whose love for classics, craftsmanship, and the open road was unmistakable. Beyond the garage, he lived life boldly-running nightlife clubs, chartering boats, chasing new ventures, and always embracing the adventure that came with them. To him, life was meant to be lived fully, and he never hesitated to follow a dream. Jim, was a father, grandfather, brother, husband, and friend. He leaves behind his children, grandchildren, sibling, and many friends who became family along the way. Jim, was preceded in death by his beloved parents Arthur and Lois Webster. For those who knew Jim, it often felt as though anything he touched turned to gold-not because of luck, but because of his relentless work ethic, big heart, and belief that life should be lived with passion and laughter. Though he is gone, his stories, his lessons, and his unforgettable spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him. His legacy lives on through the countless people whose lives he touched.
