James Douglas, son to James Buford Williams and Emily Mae Orgain, was born on March 30, 1975, in Clarksville, Tennessee. His parents, brother, Andre’ L. Orgain; sister, Lametri Williams-Brooks; grandparents: Emily Brougnah, Vernon Orgain, Roosevelt Williams and Mable Williams; aunts: Overla Williams, Len Ali and Rachel Garrett; uncles: Michael D. Martin, Samuel “Tony” Williams; Roger Williams and Vernon Petter Williams preceded him in death.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Greenhill Baptist Church where he sang in the Youth Choir.
James was educated in the Montgomery County School System and he received his GED through Job Corps.
He loved spending time with family and friends, He enjoyed cooking, cars, DJ’ing parties and fishing. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
On Saturday, January 13, 2024, James departed this life to be with the Lord.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his children: Antonio Williams, Aquanetta Williams, both of Clarksville, TN, DaQueeshia O’Neal (JaKoryion Snowden), Little Rock, AR, Teashia (Rasheen) Lewis, Guthrie, KY and Jaime O’Neal, Chicago, IL; three grandchildren: DaKeven O’Neal, Aayvah Snowden and Jayda Williams; sister: Lasynia Orgain (John) Moss; brother, Charles L. Orgain, Sr., (Kenya Samuels); devoted special friend, Deborah O’Neal; brother-in-law, Terrance Brooks, Sr.; aunts: Loretta Martin, Pamela Orgain-Williams and Patricia Carter; uncle, Lee Williams, Sr., and a host of other relatives and friends.
