Mr. James Wesley Williams, age 91, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 surrounded by family.
He was born on July 30, 1933 in Atlanta, Georgia to Mr. John Wesley Williams and Mrs. Annie Eugenia Bergern Williams. He was a proud veteran of the United States Naval Air. He was married to Mrs. Eloise Patrick Williams for 56 years prior to her passing in 2013. He worked for Stein Printing for 45 years as general manager. Jim accepted Christ at the age of twelve. He was a founding member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Hiram where he also served as Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Director and Chairman of the Board of Deacons. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. His favorite saying is "Be faithful and Serve."
In addition to his parents and loving wife, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Morrow, daughter-in-law, Leah Williams; great granddaughter, Brayleigh Baxter; sister, Catherine Spinks (Richard).
Jim is survived by his daughter, Pam Baxter (Rusty); son, Wes Williams (Allison); grandchildren, Brannon Baxter (Rikki-Lynn), Nikole Wells (Jon), Katie Ragsdale (Justin) and Maegan Morrow (Ben Treinen); great grandchildren, Branson Baxter, Braylon Baxter, Wesley Wells, Ellie Kate Wells, Wrenlee Ragsdale, Everly Ragsdale, Rosalie Ragsdale; many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. James Wesley Williams will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024, 1:00 P.M. at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Hiram, Georgia. Rev. Derek Berry and Rev. Danny Patrick will officiate. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens in Hiram, Georgia.
Visitation for Mr. Williams will be Monday, October 28, 2024, 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home and Tuesday, October 29, 2024, 11:00A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Jim was the first person to speak to me at Tabernacle almost 30 years ago. He shared so many life stories. We knew we could count on him and Eloise to counsel us... even in the middle of the night.
I can't wait for that glad reunion day.
