James Victor Williams of North Little Rock, AR went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2025. Born July 22, 1934, to the late Ottis and Julia (Graue) Williams in Goshen, Arkansas. He dedicated 50 years of his life serving and protecting our community in law enforcement leaving behind a long legacy of courage, honor, and unwavering commitment to his role. Beyond the uniform he was also a deacon of Faith Baptist Church for many years as well as a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He cherished every person he met. He was not just a protector but also a mentor, friend, a father-figure, and a guiding light to those around him.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years Floy Lea Williams; Siblings, Jerry ‘Pop’ Williams, Carl Williams, Cecil Williams, Genelle Williams Harris, Ottis Lawrence (Junior) Williams, Eugene (Gene) Williams, and Bill Williams.

He is survived by his two daughters Sonia Hart (Kevin), Susan Webb (Dennis); two grandchildren Laura Hart Sentell (Jacob), John Kyle Webb (Maitland); two great-grandchildren Ellison and Bexley Webb; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 at Faith Baptist Church in North Little Rock at 2:00 pm with a visitation 1 hour prior to service. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Farmington Cemetery in Farmington, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund or CARTI.
