Survived by wife, Desjume Beets-Williford, parents, James Triplett, Linda Weathers & Kathy Jackson Bell, in-laws, David Beets & Roseanne Seely-Allen, other relatives & friends. Memorial Service Saturday 4:00 p.m. at Cathedral of Praise C.O.G.I.C. 4800 Clarksville Hwy. Bishop Jerry Maynard, Sr. Eulogist. Terrell Broady Funeral Home.

I just heard of James passing today. While a student at Fisk University, James was one of my federal work study employees. He was always respectful and easygoing - a very nice and intelligent young man. I extend my most sincere condolences to his family. Having just buried my mother two days ago, I can relate to your sadness. My mother was 92; 27 years seems so little time with him. Still, I pray that you have wonderful memories to help make it easier to bear your loss. Take care.

My lil, taller bro, James,
I had the hardest time accepting your passing. Then one morning, after having a good cry, I looked in the mirror. I looked at my face and I could see yours. I remembered our childhood and the amazing times we had. You live on within me, the same way I did through you. Im going to carry you with me forever. When we meet up I can't wait to tell you all about what Marvel has been up to.
