Dear Anne,
Oh what wonderful memories I have of your Dad. He and your Mom and I spent many hours digging in the dirt together at St. Francis! He was a kind and gentle man.
I missed them so when they moved to Richmond but was happy they could be near you.
One of the first gifts I got at Christmas one year was an angel that they had bought at St. Stevens. It was such a thoughtful gesture of them.
You have been a good daughter. Thanks be to God!
( I will let Uncle Raby and Jane know about your Dad) Please give your Mom our love and tell her
'little Rosemary" and her husband just had twin boys on September 10!
Take good care of yourself.

I got to know Jim at St. Francis and through NSCDA-NC and I treasure my memories of his smile, his patience and his calm demeanor. I send you love.
