James Randal Wilson Jr.

I am Cynthia Wilson's cousin, Vanessa Brown,and I am sending my deepest condolences to her and the rest of the family. I remember James sending me an invitation to Cynthia 's birthday, but I couldn't make it. I do have a picture of James with Cynthia's late sisters, Leona and Judy, my cousins and her late mom, My late Aunt Bertha. James was standing between Aunt Bertha and Cynthia. He looked very handsome in the picture. Cynthia did tell me things that James did. I know she was and always be proud of her husband ! I love you, Cynthia!

James was a high school classmate at Woodward. He was always vibrant, in a good mood, and never failed to bring his ray of sunshine to the group he was interacting with. His confidence was never lacking ..... and neither was his smile.

We tried several times over the past few years to reunite and grab lunch together. I had no idea this would happen.
James was new to Fayetteville in 1999 and City Director of KMC Telecom. He took a chance on a green horn like me and I worked hard to make sure he didn´t regret it. He was a great boss and a better friend. I can still see him rubbing his hands together and shaking his head while saying "Mr. Dawkins, there isn´t anything you can´t do, if you want it bad enough". My heart goes out to his family. James was a no nonsense boss, but he would have your back when it counted. James would always light up talking about his family. He was a proud papa of 2 beautiful kids.
The KMC Family is sad tonight!!!
