Mr. James Daniel "Danny" Worth, age 67, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away Monday evening, January 26, 2026, following a lengthy illness.

Danny was born May 5, 1958, in Douglas, Georgia to the late Talmadge Worth and the late Madeline Corbitt Worth. His career was in the automotive service industry where he spent many years maintaining trucks for Walmart, Coca Cola, and Southern Propane, just to name a few. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who found great joy in time spent with his family. He was married to the love of his life, the late Mrs. Bonnie Chaney Worth, for 49 years before her passing last month. He was raised attending Bethel Baptist Church and later in life he attended Iron Road Holiness Church for many years. Along with his wife and parents, Danny preceded in death by two baby girls, Stacey Worth and Melissa Worth.

Danny leaves behind two sons, Ted Marcus Worth, and wife Shanda, of Mora, Georgia, and James Michael Worth of Douglas Georgia; a daughter, Danielle Michelle Worth of Douglas, Georgia; two grandsons, Dalton Worth, and wife Candid, of Mora, Georgia and Logan Worth, and wife Ansley, of Hickox, Georgia; two great grandchildren, Brinleigh Worth and River Worth; three sisters: Mary Sue Hatton, and husband John, of Nicholls, Georgia, Diane Law, and husband Sidney, of Davisboro, Georgia, and Jeanette Barile, and husband Willie, of Douglas, Georgia; along with a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Danny's family will receive friends on Friday morning, January 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel. His funeral will be held at 11:00 AM in the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating.

Active pallbearers will include Ryan Belcher, Shane Belcher, Aaron Hatten, Dalton Worth, Logan Worth, Larry Faulk, Brian Chaney, and Anthony Chaney.
