Mr. James Horton Wright

Mr. James Horton Wright, age 89, of McDonough, GA passed away September 18, 2010. Mr. Wright was born in Rome, GA the son of the late Carl Bivens and Lessie Horton Wright. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Joines Wright; brothers, Bivens, Ed and Max Horton. Mr. Wright served his country in the US Army from 1943 – 1946. He enjoyed gardening, sports and was an avid Tech Fan. Survivors are his children: James David Wright (Cyndi) of McDonough and Abby Wright Register (Butch) of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Amanda Wright of Atlanta and Michael Wright of McDonough; sister, Jane Brock of Rome and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mr. Wright will be Wednesday, September 22, 2010 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park.
