James "Brian" Young

My band, the Feast of Stephen, used to play shows with Mother Nang in Charleston back in the '90s. Brian was always such a nice guy and a tireless supporter of local music (and fantastic drummer). When my band reunited we did it at LiveMix and Brian masterminded the sound that night. The Charleston music scene has lost a very important piece. Condolences to his family, friends, and bandmates.
