Mr. James M. Young, 72, of Fairburn, passed away Thursday, at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta.
Mr. Young was born January 5, 1953, in Tampa, Florida, and lived in Fulton County most of his life. A veteran of service as a medic in the U.S. Army, he retired as a set designer from Czarnowski North America. He loved music and enjoyed working in his yard and operating his tractor.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Young, and his daughter, Emily Young, both of Fairburn. He was preceded in death by his mother, Faye Moore Trussell; his father, James Gordon Young; his step-father, Edward LaVaughan Trussell; and his sister, Beverly Young Wallace.
A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of James M. Young will be announced later.
