In addition, Jim enjoyed a vibrant volunteer life in his beloved Homerville. Active in the Homerville United Methodist Church, the Black River Entertainment Company, the Homerville Community Center Committee, and the American Red Cross, Jim organized blood drives at the Homer School and personally donated more than 29 gallons.
