Jamesetta A. (Enright) Roche, age 77 of
Porter, Indiana passed away
Tuesday, October 3, 2023. She was born April 14, 1946 in Hammond,
Indiana.
Jetta graduated from Hammond High School. She also took elective college
courses at St. Joseph's College. She worked for over 25 years as the office
manager for a heart surgeon, before retiring in 2018. She was highly
esteemed by both the doctor and his patients. Jetta was a fashionista with
amazing style. She was a beautiful person both inside and out. Some of her
nieces and nephews had nicknamed her "Aunt Fancy." To the delight of her
family, she was a gourmet cook. Her Thanksgiving dinners were anticipated
by all. Recently, Jetta was taking pottery and jewelry classes, which she was
very excited about. Jetta was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother,
daughter, daughter-in-law, aunt, sister, and friend to many.
Jetta is survived by her husband Andres Roche; their son Andres (Renee)
Roche II; their granddaughter Jaclyn Foy (grand-cat Lilly); sisters, April
(Mark) Dillingham, Jennifer Marovich, Michelle (Roger) Hatch, Deborah
(Joe) Hammond, Valerie Brown; brothers,Patrick (Cathy) Enright, Robert
Marovich, Scott (Shannon) Marovich; her two godsons, Shane Kelley and
Dillon Kelley as well as many loving family
members and friends.
Jetta is preceded in death by her parents, James Enright, Eli and Elizabeth
Marovich, and beloved goddaughter Eliza Kelley. Also, her cat-daughter
Mary.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 2 pm
- 6 pm at Burns-Kish Munster chapel (8415 Calumet Ave,
Munster, IN46321).
