Jameson L. Ross, also known affectionately as Jamie, passed away at the age of 43 in Livonia Michigan, on July 5, 2024. He was born on September 7, 1980, in Southfield Michigan.
Jamie led a fulfilling life dedicated to serving his country and community. After obtaining a high school diploma, he served in the U.S. Army before embarking on a fulfilling career as a dedicated Veteran at the Veterans Hospital in Ann Arbor. His work exemplified his deep commitment to supporting and caring for his fellow veterans.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jamie cherished his role as a devoted husband to Samantha and being a loving father to his daughter Winter. Jamie was also a devoted cat dad to Samantha and Jamie's four fur babies (Chubs, Dexter, Jack (Tiny), and Dizzy). He found immense joy in spending time with his family and creating lasting memories together.
In addition to Samantha and Winter, Jamie is survived by his mother Debra Joy and father Phil (Pam) Ross as well as his five brothers Justin Ross, Justin "Jay" Girouard, Nic Girouard, Zac Girouard and Mike Raines.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan.
Those wishing to remember Jamie in a special way may make a donation in his name to the Michigan Humane, 7887 Chrysler Drive, Detroit, Michigan 48211. Donation envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
Jameson L. Ross will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of selflessness, dedication, and love will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
