Jamie Frank Dominguez of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at West Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30am on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at San Jose Catholic Church, followed by the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with the burial to follow at Santa Catarina Cemetery.

Jamie F. Dominguez was born on March 20, 1981, in Carlsbad, NM. He was a lifelong resident of Carlsbad and attended Carlsbad Municipal Schools. He had worked for his grandfather, Frank Briones, as a laborer in his construction business and worked for Albertsons as both a stocker and in the bakery.

Jamie found comfort in the Word of God. He enjoyed playing dominoes, was a gifted horseback rider, and loved to prepare food to enjoy with his loved ones. He loved gardening and had a unique gift that made everything he touched bloom beautifully. He was a longtime member of San Jose Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by biological father Frank Dominguez; grandparents: Francisco "Frank" Briones, Mike Galindo and Frank O. and Josie Dominguez; as well as Uncle Ricky Dominguez, Aunt Frances O. "Panchita" Dominguez, Uncle Larry Briones and Aunt Victoria Briones.

He is survived by his children: Destiny Dominguez, Jamie Dominguez and Andreas Montoya, all of Carlsbad and Aspyn Arteaga of Arizona; parents: Rachel and Mark Galindo; siblings: Anthony Galindo, Jacob Galindo, Eric and wife Matney Galindo, all of Carlsbad, Nina and husband Joseph Garde of Rio Rancho, NM and Ashley and husband Eric Crow of Las Vegas, NV; grandmothers, Nadine Briones, Maria Galindo and Rosa Briones, as well as Uncle Daniel Castaneda, Aunt Denise and husband Joseph Vasquez, Uncle Jose Briones, Uncle Gerald Briones, all of Carlsbad. Aunt Sandra Rackers of Dallas, Texas and Aunt Melinda Urquidez of Jacksonville, Florida.

Paul bearers: Anthony Galindo, Jacob Galindo, Eric Galindo, Jamie Dominguez, Andreas Montoya, Daniel Vasquez and Rodney Galindo.

Honorary Paul Bearers: Joseph Garde, Eric Crow, Micheal Munoz, John Paul Leos, Anthony and Aaron Hernandez.
