Jamie Lyn "Gigi and Mimi" Hedlund

Jamie L. Hedlund, 65, of Anderson, went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Jamie was a daughter of the late James A. Lebedeck and the late Trish Fegely Hollingsworth. Her early years were marked by hardship, experiences that shaped her resilience and perseverance throughout her life.

For the past fifteen years, Jamie courageously fought multiple cancers. During that time, she devoted herself to researching alternative and holistic approaches to health, which many believe helped extend her life and gave her more treasured time with her family. Those years were especially meaningful because they allowed her to spend precious time with her grandchildren, whom she adored. Known affectionately as Gigi and Mimi, she found deep joy in being part of their lives and cherished every moment she had with them.

Jamie was known for her quirky sense of humor, her firm and lingering hugs, and her openness in sharing her thoughts on life and spirituality. She loved Christianity and meaningful conversations about faith. She was also known to be a faithful prayer warrior, lifting others up in prayer.

Though she never pursued a traditional professional career, Jamie found purpose in many ways. She once owned a consignment store and gave her time to various charitable efforts, including involvement with her PEO sisters, where she formed lasting friendships.

Jamie missed her mother deeply, who preceded her in death several years earlier, and often spoke of her longing to be reunited with her again.

She is survived by her children: Todd Hedlund; Travis (Hayley) Hedlund; and Natalie (Brian) Kaufman. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Cole Reagin; Aubrey, Holland, Tucker, Larkyn, Saylor, Sutton, Ava, Abel, Amos, Ansel, Roman, Zoe, and Eden. She is also survived by her siblings: Melissa (Tony) Giordano, Greg (Angela) Lebedeck, and Jeff Lebedeck, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel at Cannon Byrd Memorial Park, 1150 N. Main Street, Fountain Inn, South Carolina 29644.

Jamie will be remembered for her perseverance through illness, her distinctive personality, and the mark she left on those who knew her.
