Jamie Lea Jendro, age 44, of Princeton, MN, passed away on April 13, 2024, in a tragic side-by-side UTV accident in Oak Park, MN. Born on October 11, 1979, in Robbinsdale, MN, she was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her. Jamie was a woman of remarkable spirit and vitality, whose presence was a source of comfort and happiness to her family and friends.
Raised in the close-knit community of Princeton, Minnesota, Jamie graduated from Princeton High School, leaving her mark as the girl who could tackle any challenge-quite literally, as she played football on an all-boys team. She carried that same tenacity and drive to the University of Arizona Phoenix, where she earned her degree and proved that a woman could crunch numbers as fiercely as tackles, establishing a successful career in accounting as a bookkeeper with Nate Cook Construction and as a bartender at the Hi-Way Inn.
She enjoyed the casino escapades she had with her mother and grandmother. She was a woman of many passions, with a love for travel that took her many places.
She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Gloria (Bakoczy) Jendro, and her cherished grandparents, Robert and Gloria Bakoczy, and Richard and Avon Jendro.
Jamie's memory will be treasured and kept alive by her son, Brody Bailey; father, Alan Jendro; brother, Joe Jendro; nieces and nephew, Madisen Jendro, Caitlin Gustafson-Jendro, and Peyton Jendro, all of Princeton.
Her passing leaves a void in the hearts who were fortunate enough to know her and the memories will be cherished forever.
Services will be held at a later date. Information will be posted when available.
