Jamil "Jimmy" K. Guerrero-Osman
Jamil "Jimmy" Guerrero-Osman was born on May 24, 1993, in Oregon, Ohio, to his loving mother, Andriana Guerrero. From the moment he arrived, Jimmy brought joy, laughter, and light to everyone who knew him.
Known for his larger-than-life personality, Jimmy had a natural warmth and an infectious sense of humor. He was kind, generous, and always ready to help others. He saw the best in people and the good in every situation. He truly lived in the moment.
Jimmy had a deep love for boxing and was a familiar face at Emagine Royal Oak, where he was affectionately known as their most loyal "regular." He was also quite the comedian, always quick with a joke and able to make others laugh effortlessly.
He graduated from Clawson High School and later attended Oakland Community College in Royal Oak, with aspirations of becoming a pharmacist. So, in the meantime, he was working as the sales manager at Trend Express Market with his extended family, Romeel and Hilda Namou, and their two beautiful daughters. An endless outpouring of love is received from all his regular and beloved customers that he will dearly miss.
Jimmy was the third of four brothers, Ali Osman (JC), Martin Guerrero (Kassy), and SFC Johnathan Guerrero Sr. (Vailysiana); his extended brothers and sister, Rami Elias, Stephen Wright, Dan King, Gregg Thedford and Mona Tanana; uncles, Mario A. Guerrero, Gilbert V. Guerrero, and Joseph J. Guerrero; his cousins, whom he considered as his brothers and sisters are as follows, Jesse Miller, Nicolas Guerrero, Mario A. Guerrero, Mario C. Guerrero, Cristina V. Guerrero, Vinny Guerrero, Michael Guerrero, Rosa Guerrero, Pablo Jackson, and Ally Guerrero; along with all the rest of their beloved family. Special thanks to Tia, Esmeralda Reyna-AbuNada; Aunt, Michelle Yates-Burkey; and again, Cristina Guerrero. He leaves behind many loved ones, including his nieces and nephews, Aliyana, Johnathan Jr., Jhiyana, Lidia, Giovanni, Lorenzo, and a nephew due in October, who will carry Jimmy's name. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend, Mariah Boykins; and her children, Sa'Miyah and Alex Boykins, whom Jimmy loved as his own; his four-legged niece, Jordan "Littles."
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Lupita Velasquez Guerrero and Gilbert C. Guerrero Sr.
Jimmy touched countless lives - far too many to name - and his family is deeply grateful for all who shared in his journey. Your love, prayers, and support during this time mean more than words can express.
The Guerrero-Osman family invites all who knew and loved Jimmy to join us as we honor his life and send him home to the Lord. Your presence would mean the world to Jimmy - and to us.
