Jan Dollar Clay, age 72, of Bastrop, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025. She was always being a social butterfly for she never met a stranger. She was an advertising executive for the Monroe Newsstar in Monroe, LA. She loved animals and was always willing to speak out as an advocate for any animals being mistreated. She is survived by her husband, Danny L. Clay; daughters, Zoe Clay, Claire Clay and Christy Clay.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Alma Dollar; brothers, Max Dollar, Jr., Keith Dollar, Dan Dollar and Ted Dollar.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice or your local humane society.
