Dear Ray, Susan, Kim, Nora and all those who knew and loved Jan,
I am so very sorry for this unexpected loss. May we all be inspired by her indomitable spirit, her love and her strength during the very full life she led. Her resilience in the face of adversity; her love of life and family and the patients she advocated for were second to none. It´s hard to say good bye to such a kind and loving person in a world that needs so many more of her. The memories of Jan will remain. Sincere condolences to all who hold those memories dear.

I had the privilege to work with Jan for many years. Jan was a most wonderful nurse and an exemplary manager for the dementia care unit. Jan was a visionary in ensuring the most innovative care was delivered to each individual. She named her unit 'New Horizons' and this unit received high praises and awards for the individualized and creative approaches to memory care.
Jan was truly a kind and thoughtful person and nurse. She always had her office stocked with treats for the residents and staff. When Jan was in her office, she usually had a resident sitting in there with her - visiting and chatting. The residents loved these visits to Jan's 'apartment' as they would call it. Jan was a hands on manager and always provided such great care.
I will always be thankful that I was fortunate to work with Jan. She taught many lessons with her quiet determination and her sense of humor.
She always ended a call or text with 'I love you'!
Jan - you will always be loved and appreciated.
My condolences to Raymond and to all of Jan's family and friends.
