Janice Lucille Haynes passed away January 6, 2026, in Cape Coral, Florida.
Jan was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Ina and Leonard Lampton on February 9, 1941. She went to school in Kansas City and graduated from Lillis High School.
She married Jack L. Haynes on August 19, 1961, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She worked as a dental assistant for thirty-eight years. She was active in the lady's bible study, widows' group, crochet, and bible study at First Christian Church.
Jan was preceded in death by her mother Ina Wright, her husband Jack, grandson Joshua Pollock, and brother Wesley.
Jan is survived by daughters Jacqueline Ash and Jeanine Haynes, son Jack (Aleesha), and sister Patricia Fantin. Grandchildren Jack and Jasmine Haynes and Rodney and Marley Luke. Great-grandchildren Gabriel, Aden, and Deegan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31st at First Christian Church with Dr. Keith Kruger of First Christian Church officiating.
