Mr. Keown was born on November 7, 1946 and passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016. Mr. Keown was a resident of Auburn, Alabama at the time of his passing. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.

He was good friend and classmate for 2 years when we were 11 and 12 years old in Montgomery. Had some fun adventures roaming the countryside. I found Bessie Teague's (Teague Dairy) school books one day when he and I were investigating an old abandon farm house. We bought Betsy Emmons and Patsy Werner valentines when we were 12 and gave them to them at the same time. He was a good pal.
