I am so sorry to see this. Years ago, I had the opportunity to work with Jan. She was bright, hardworking and a joy to see each day. She was one of the "good guys" at the office...the one who always brightened the day. I know her family will miss her. Gone too soon.

When we met at Rice University. We became roommates for 3 years. She was the kindest person!

I am so sad to hear of Jan´s passing. I knew her at Rice and she was always and consistently an encouraging mentor to me. Later after we had graduated it was exciting to learn that she had married one of my brother-in-laws´ best friends, so we reconnected. She was so lovely and always encouraging. I knew Jan at Rice. She was always kind, funny, and empathetic. Although we have not been close since our college days, I know the world was better for having her be part of it.
