Mr Jan you were the light in our day. The joy you brought to anyone lucky enough to meet you will forever last. You reminded me always that this was "God's Country". Your stories of soccer captured my imagination (especially with you being a fellow lefty). Your gratitude for your Grandson gave me enlightened me. & above all your love for God and unwavering, intentional acknowledgment of his Grace drove me to continue no matter the wickedness surrounding. You chose to always see his light. That energy and level of faith is infectious and for that I am grateful. You will be missed but never forgotten. Thank you for being you and welcoming first myself, then Brandon, and then anyone else we eventually brought along into your home to spend time with you. The Town of Belleair lost one of its most beautiful Souls. We mourn yes, but we celebrate knowing that you are now in the Kingdom of God where you shall shine forever.
Chris, I cant express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. You are undoubtedly the Greatest Grandson I have ever met. Your efforts, dedication, and genuine care for your Grandfather is to be admired. I wish you peace and mercy as you try and navigate life moving forward. I pray that you remain strong and live life fully for I know that is what Mr Jan would want. He wouldn't want you to spiral or beat yourself up about anything. You did EVERYTHING. He adored you and in his eyes you were a superhero. Be at peace my man. May God Bless you forevermore. Anything you need Chris, just reach out. We are here.
