Jan was more than just a Mother to her boys, she was a confidante, a mentor, and a friend, she would do anything you needed when you needed her no matter the time or when it was, Her door was always open, her heart always welcoming. She dedicated her life to her family, ensuring that love and laughter filled her home. She was of Baptist Faith and loved the Lord, and her friends on Lone Mountain where she resided.
She will be dearly missed by her Family, Friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the stories we tell, the traditions we keep, and the love we share. We Prayed for healing even if it meant to walk the streets of Gold the Lord is merciful and she is now healed walking the streets in Heaven and telling us she is ok and pointing her finger.
Though her physical presence is no longer with us, Jan's spirit will forever remain in our hearts. She has a presence that filled the room, not because she tried to, it was simply who she was. We are eternally grateful for the time we shared and the memories we created with her. She will be deeply missed and remembered with love. A Special thank you to Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, Tn for the love and support they held for her everyday and the caretaking they did for her needs; she loved everyone who entered her room and always wanted to hold their hand-she was the sweetest and kindest woman you could meet. Our hearts are broken but knowing we will be with her again one day is the most rewarding thing to look forward too. There will be no service due to her wishes, Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel of
Rossville, Ga, will be handling her arrangements as she wanted.
