Jan Zmuda Obituary
The funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at 9:00am. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison at 10:00am. His Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Friends and relatives of Jan and his family may visit the funeral home on Friday, February 6th, 2026 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday morning after 8:30am.

Born in Partynia, Poland Jan later moved to New Jersey in 1993 with his wife and two youngest children and eventually settled in Kearny. He worked as a Tool and Die Mechanic for United Die Company, Kearny for many years where he retired from in 2019. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and he was an avid reader. He was a Parishioner of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Harrison, NJ for many years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Maria Zmuda, loving children, Stanislaw (Bronislawa), Jozef (Marta), Dorota Kilian (Wieslaw), Bogdan (Bozena), Pawel (Joanna) and Marzena Zmuda Dudek (Daniel), his 19 cherished grandchildren, 19 dear great-grandchildren and siblings, Marian and Kazimierz Zmuda. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers and a sister.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 115 South Third Street, Harrison, NJ 07029 or in care of the funeral home in loving memory of Jan.
