Janáe Marie Lizotte, 61, of Yakima, Washington, passed away on October 28, 2025, surrounded by love.
Born to Donald and Dale Lizotte, Janáe brought laughter, light, and music wherever she went. She had an unforgettable sense of humor and a natural gift for making people smile. Her generous spirit and outgoing personality made her a friend to everyone she met.
Janáe had a passion for fishing, dancing, and all things 80's-especially Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. She was full of life and joy, living each day with enthusiasm and kindness. The love of her life was her faithful dog, Holly, who was always by her side.
She is survived by her mother, Dale Lizotte; sisters Suzette (Terry) Ingle, Debbie (Bill) Fox, Tammy (Craig) Maxwell, and Michelle (Jerry) Montgomery and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Janáe's life was a celebration of laughter, love, and music-she will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew.

Dear Janae, although I am many miles away in a distant state, I heard of your passing and wanted to tell you how much you were appreciated and what an impact you made in my life. When I first went to work in Yakima years ago, you were one of the first people I met. You always came with a smile, patience, humor and oh so genuine. You gave friendship and trust so freely. What a blessing you were to all who crossed your path. Remember the day you gifted me with a little clip-on angel medallion. To this day, it is clipped to the sun vizor in my car and I never hit the road without it. It is you Janae, your spirit, that is my angel. So glad I am to have known you, never to be forgotten. Rest in peace in your heavenly home Dear One.
