Jancey Thomas Dickens, 70, of Cameron passed away Sunday August 10, 2025.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday (8/15/2025) at Crossroads Ministries.
She was born to the late Elbert Brice Thomas and Margaret Rae Pattishall. She was a volunteer at the Christian United Outreach Center (CUOC). She enjoyed going to the enrichment center, line dancing, the beach, and crafting.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Dickens; stepbrother Mike Brennan; and nephews Lynn Freeman, Brice Freeman, and Vaughn Hunter.
She is survived by her children Nancy Budde (Trent), Matthew Dickens (Angie), and Jenna Zollinger (Alex); grandchildren Cameron Lane (Rachel), Brett Mills, Alexus Brewer, Jonathan, and Landon Crunk, Kyle, Noah and Evan Budde; mother Margaret Brennan (Darrell); sisters Cathy Ellis (Ray), Sheila Hughes (Howard), and Wanda Poe (Lynn); Jeff Brennan (Kim); Jill Cole (Chris), and Julie Dorminey; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to Crossroads Ministries, 107 Milton Ave, Broadway, NC 27505, or to Juniper Springs Baptist Church, 852 Buckhorn Rd, Sanford, NC 27330.
