Jane S. Barta

Jane S. Barta (nee Sykes), 98, of Westlake, beloved wife of the late Rudolph; dear mother of Dr. Rudy "Bud" Barta (Marilyn) of Richardson, TX and Lt. Col. V. William "Bin" Barta (Jan) of Fullerton, CA; grandmother of Gregory, Jeffrey, Sara Kay, Christopher, Deborah Lynn, Julie Ann, Jennifer and Bob; great-grandmother of 18; sister of the late Betty Corwin and Dana Clark; passed away, May 21, 2011. Jane was a past president of the Lakewood PTA, a Daughter of the American Revolution, a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, and a member of the Rocky River Presbyterian Church where she established the library. Gifts in memory of Jane may be forwarded to the Rocky River Presbyterian Church Library, 21750 Detroit Ave., Rocky River, OH., 44116. Memorial service to be held in California at a later date.
