Jane Bonneville Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Skinner Funeral Home - Cumberland on Nov. 26, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Jane Eyre Bonneville, age 72, of Cumberland passed away suddenly on Monday, November 24, 2025 at her home. She was born March 12, 1953 in Cumberland, WI to Earl and Ann (Lombard) Bonneville.
Jane attended grade school at Pipe Lake until Christmas break of her 6th grade year, when her parents decided that she and her twin, Jim, were going to start school in Turtle Lake. She later graduated from Turtle Lake High School in the Class of 71.
Jane was a hardworking woman, holding several jobs throughout her life, but most recently she enjoyed donating her time to the Meals on Wheels program in Cumberland. At home she enjoyed watching her "soaps". If she set out and about, there was a good chance she was either heading for a drive to check out the fall colors on Highway H, admiring the views of Pipe Lake, seeking out a garage sale, or finding her way over to The Hammer, where many of her friends also congregated.
Most of all, her siblings will remember her for being an optimistic, "glass half-full" type of person.
She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie (Jim) Niemann and Kathy Torres; her twin brother, Jim (Lynn) Bonneville; and nieces and nephews, Michelle Jaeger, Del Shannon Ludden, Scott Ludden, Jill Licht, and Heidi Medenwaldt.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ann; and a nephew, Todd Niemann.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 PM - 5 PM on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland.
A private interment will be held.
