Today is Janie B's birthday and I called her to wish her cheers and discovered she died last month...Oh Amy and Ted ...
Though we haven't seen each other for almost 12 years...she is always in my memory as a smart, athletic, beautiful, loving friend from our growing up years...sharing those times of puberty, discovering love, having children and dealing with what it meant to be a woman in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. and what a smile!
