Jane Doreen Erznoznik, 81, passed away peacefully at her home in West Jordan, Utah, on October 20, 2025.
Born on October 4, 1944, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jane was the daughter of Doris and Lloyd Howard and the youngest of four children. She was raised in Salt Lake City alongside her siblings Charles, Ila, and Bonnie, all of whom preceded her in death.
Jane attended the University of Utah, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Clothing and Textiles. After graduation, she moved to California, where she met the love of her life, David Erznoznik. They later settled in Utah, where they were married in the Salt Lake City Temple on February 7, 1974.
For many years, Jane devoted herself to being a stay-at-home mother before starting a career at Preferred Steel, where she worked in accounts payable. She was known for her warmth and endless capacity for love. Jane had a gift for making people feel seen and valued; her life was centered around kindness and a strong dedication to helping others.
Jane is survived by her loving husband, David; their six children; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored beyond measure. She will be deeply missed by her family, as well as countless relatives and friends who were blessed by her love and generosity.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1380 W 6785 S, West Jordan, Utah, with the funeral to follow at 11:30. Interment will take place at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery, 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, Utah.
