Zella “Jane” (Webster) Gould, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. She was a former employee of the Henry Vogt Machine Company in Louisville and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church where she cooked many of the Wednesday night fellowship meals and sang in the church choir.
Jane was born on February 2, 1947 in La Grange, Kentucky to the late Orville and Ruthie B. (Warner) Webster. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Patsy McCarley; brothers-in-law, Harry Riley and David Payne; and nephew, Aaron McCarley.
Jane leaves to cherish her memory her son, Chris Gould; sisters, Betty Riley and Kathy Payne; brother, Robert “Bobby” (Diana) Webster; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation we be on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Dr. Louisville, KY 40243) with her Funeral Service being held at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Louisville Memorial Gardens-East.
The family requests that Memorial Donations be made to the American Cancer Association or to Hosparus Health of Kentuckiana.
