CLAXTON: Jane Hodges Green, 94, passed away on October 27, 2025. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and was a very active member of Isle Hope United Methodist Church in Savannah, Georgia for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Duane Green; daughters, Janet Keel and Teresa Green; parents, Ottis and Helen “Bud” Durrence Hodges; brothers, Dan and Neil Hodges.
SURVIVORS: son, Alan Green and grandchildren, Dustin and Hunter Green.
Due to construction of the parking lot at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home, services will be held at the Claxton First Church
VISITATION: Monday, November 10, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Claxton First Church.
FUNERAL: Monday, November 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Claxton First Church.
BURIAL: Bull Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
