Jane Dotson Griffith

Jane Dotson (Kipfinger) Griffith, 96, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away leaving a profound legacy of faith and devotion. Born in Bluefield, West Virginia, July 9, 1929, to Roy and Ethel Kipfinger, Jane lived a life defined by her compassionate service as a Registered Nurse and her reputation as a dedicated "prayer warrior".
Jane shared 62 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Walter Joseph Griffith. Their enduring love was anchored by the song "Always" by Ella Fitzgerald; they danced to it every anniversary and signed every note to one another with that single, meaningful word. Following retirement, the couple dedicated their lives to mission work, including service in the Holy Lands, Red Bird Mission in Kentucky, and 25 volunteer trips over 23 years to the UMCOR Sager Brown Depot in Louisiana.
Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter; sons, Clifton, Jr., Donald, and Joseph; daughter, Deborah; grandson, Ira; and three of her siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Bryant-Mason, Marcia (Griffith) Parsons, and Margaret (Griffith) Harry; son-in-law, Thomas Parsons; daughters-in-law, Joyce and Connie Griffith; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and siblings, Roy, Jr., Katherine, and Ethel.
A devout Christian and a pillar of her family, Jane's warmth and missionary heart touched many lives. Though she is deeply missed, Jane and Walter are finally reunited in eternity-Always
