Dear John, Derek, Rachael, and Meredith and Families,

So very sorry to hear of the loss of your lovely wife, mother, grandma, sister, daughter and auntie. Jane was a joy to work with when I was at Crystal Biotech more than 25 years ago. I loved her like a true friend. It was fun to hear stories of all of you from the boat to the hockey games and colleges and high school happenings. It's been a while, but I even got to meet your dog one time during a quick lunch break to your house. I just recently learned of her passing. When reading her obituary, I was so pleased to see that she was blessed with several lovely sons and daughter-in-laws as well as 6 darling grandchildren whom, I'm sure brought her much joy over the years when we were no longer in touch. My hope is that she was able to help with making some Halloween costumes for them and that she was able to knit cute little outfits for them as well as play with them and spoil them for several years before going to Heaven. I'm sure she continues to watch over you all with a huge smile and warm hugs. I'm keeping Jane in my prayers as well as all of you as you get through these difficult times. She was a beautiful woman of great kindness, style and grace and I know she's living through all of you still this day. Please send me one of her favorite recipes when you have time and I'd love to see some pictures of her with the grand kiddies! Love, Colleen (Burke) Whelan (Crystal Biotech 1992-1996)
