I met Jane through InFirst Bank. I admired her joyful attitude and her courage through the ups and downs of her battles with cancer and her health issues. She will be missed by so many! Donna Bruder-Smith, InFirst Board member

My cousin Meg just told me , she was just as shocked as I was of Jane´s Passing . Jane and I worked at Carlisle´s together and in our late teens after graduation and then she moved onto the bank . We lost touch through the years but got all caught up when we moved next door to Mary her Mom on Sunset . She will be greatly missed and was a beautiful person always so Joyful ! So sorry for your great loss ! Forever in my heart as a true friend . God´s abundant Blessing to all the family . So sorry I missed her services !!!

I hired Jane on March 1, 2013 as the Compliance Officer for InFirst Bank. I remember her being so sweet and full of life. She spoke about her love of cooking and I thought...great, she is going to fit right in!! Because we like to eat! I enjoyed talking with Jane and listening to her stories. She often spoke about her childhood as well as her career in banking.
Jane had a kind heart and would do anything she could to help out a neighbor or a stray cat. I can remember the day that a couple of the cats she was fostering got themselves trapped underneath the hood of her car. Jane drove to a chiropractor appointment not knowing the cats were under the hood. When she parked the car one of the cats managed to free itself and took off down the road. Jane had one of the employees at the chiropractor office get the other cat out from under the hood while a few other employees went searching for the cat that took off. We often laughed when Jane re-told the story.
Jane quickly became an integral part of our InFirst family and became a very dear friend. I will miss her greatly as will many of our employees.
Rest in Peace dear friend!!

Jane will be missed by everyone she touched. Whether it be helping stray cats or assisting the older people in her community, Jane left a lasting legacy of generosity. In many ways, we don´t realize just how much she has done for others and the immensity of her compassion. She was a mentor and a friend. Our loss of Jane and the memory of her kindness and grace will live on in our hearts.
