Dear Jane, growing up we rode our bikes all over, chased the farmer's cows, paddled the old boat through the swamp and you even tried to teach me to drive the Rambler. Best of all you shared with me your version of the "birds and the bees." Those were the best of times! You went on to lead the most amazing life. Jane and I graduated from Edmunds high School together,even though we didn't hang out together I always thought highly of her,she seemed to be such a happy person, so sorry about her passing, I know her friends and family will miss her dearly.

Very sorry to hear of Jane's death. When I was editor of The Columbia Record I hired her as a reporter and found her to be a gifted journalist and a good and caring person. But, then, her life and work speak for themselves. My condolences to her family.
