Jane Lowe Obituary
Jane "Jana" Case Lowe, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on Christmas Day, December 25th, 1943, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Jason and Deloris Case.
Jana's journey led her to The Ohio State University after completing high school, where she pursued an education that would lay the foundation for her life's work as a Crisis Counselor. Her professional career was spent at Pathways of Licking County, where she was known for her empathetic nature and unwavering dedication to those in need.
Throughout her life, Jana resided in Granville, Ohio, and more recently in Newark. She was a private individual who preferred the company of a good book over joining organizations, yet she influenced many through her work and quiet presence.
Jana was preceded in death by her beloved father, Jason Case; her mother, Deloris Case; daughter, Dr. Seana Lowe Steffan and son, Russell Rhyan Lowe. Per her wishes, Jana is being cremated and buried with her son at Maple Grove Cemetery without services.
