Katherine Jane McCann was born November 14, 1947 in Selmer, TN, the daughter of the late Hayse Combs and Mary Lou Combs.
Jane entered into a loving union with Leonard McCann on August 29, 1982. She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. She worked for Henco for many years. Katherine also found joy in the role of homemaker, weaving warmth and love into the fabric of her home. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and going to estate sales.
Mrs. McCann departed this life on July 18, 2024 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 8 Months, 4 Days.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard McCann of Selmer, TN; two sons, Bobby Holmes of Jackson, TN, Jamie Holmes of Adamsville, TN; a grandchild, Jessica Holmes of Lebanon, TN; three sisters: Linda Whitaker and husband Allen of Franklin, TN, Peggy Clayton Turner and companion Wilbur of Germantown, TN, Betty Murray of Bethel Springs, TN; a brother, Tommy Combs and friend Linda Moss of Adamsville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCann was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Combs; brother-in-law, Bruce Murray; sisters-in-law, Judy Combs and Emma Jean Combs. To know Jane was to love her. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to a Parkinson's charity of choice.
