Jane A. McIntyre

Jane A. (Janie) Culberson McIntyre, age 73, of Asheville, NC passed away on December 15, 2025 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Jane was born in Charlotte, NC on October 14, 1952 to the late William Redding Culberson and Jerleen Hilda Swann Culberson.

Jane was a high school graduate, who throughout her life, worked in hospitality. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends from work. She was a very loving and proud mother, grandmother, and gigi to her beloved family.

Jane is preceded in death by her brothers, Donnie and Ronnie. She is survived by her daughter, Sandi Henderson (Bruce), of Weaverville, NC; her brothers, Lonnie Culberson, Lee Culberson, and Rick Culberson, all of Asheville, NC; and her grandchildren, Alixis Ballard (Jake), of Marshall, NC, Maycie Owenby (Isaiah), of Marshall, NC, and Isabella Henderson, of Weaverville, NC. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Carter, Cainan, Charlotte, and Charlie Ballard, all of Marshall, NC.

A celebration of life will be held at Gateway Church (20 Integrity Dr, Woodfin, NC 28804) on Sunday, January 18 at 3:00 pm.
